Cohort's results-based management tools allow various members of a project’s team—staff, funders, partners, and evaluators, for example—to collect longitudinal data for planning, implementation, and evaluation purposes.

Users simply select and define goals, objectives, outputs, inputs, and indicators. Cohort links individual frameworks, so that the recording of indicator targets or actuals (performance data) on one framework can lead to the automatic updating of another, saving staff time and eliminating mistakes. Flexible viewing options include charting functions and adjustable time periods and fiscal years, so that users can view performance data according to their own fiscal or operational calendar, or those of their funders. To enable performance analysis across projects, organizations can create a list of common indicators that are used on multiple projects and/or throughout the organization.
