Fund Management

Define and manage designated and undesignated funds or pools of incoming monies. 

Using Cohort's Fund Management, you can track fund balances, the amounts allocated and budgeted per project, and any additional projected monies. By tracking the subject/sector, country/region, and time restrictions on funds, as well as financial projections, obligations, encumbrance, and planned versus actual spending, you can create more effective fiscal plans. For forecasting, you can allocate funds across years, dictating how much of each fund can be spent in each fiscal period. 

When combined with optional software integration services from Partners International, Cohort automatically updates fund balances with data imported from fundraising and/or accounting software systems. You can then use Cohort to analyze projects and funding pools in relation to one another.
