With Cohort's Document Management, you can store any type of document, including proposal versions, program requests, progress reports, final reports, success stories, resumes, bios, capability statements, pictures, and passports. Almost any file format can be accepted by the system, including word processing documents, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, PDF documents, and graphics. Document Management tracks the interrelationships of client data by linking any document to any number of contacts, agreements, or projects in Cohort. Additionally, all documents can be categorized by type, such as sector/subject, project, region/country, or other keywords. Other features include:

  • A check-in/check-out function that manages the editing process and ensures that only one person is working on a document at a time.
  • A flexible security control that enforces who can view and/or edit a document.
  • A revision control that automatically tracks the revision history and stores all previous versions.
  • A full-text search capability so that documents may be retrieved by category or content.
