The Area: Outsourced IT & Managed Services

Our small-to-medium business (SMB) customers outsource some or all of their IT support needs to us, as we offer greater coverage, depth of IT experience and skill, and a support infrastructure at a cost lower than doing it in-house. We become accountable to the customer for the reliability, security, and accessibility of their IT infrastructure, and for facilitating the resolution to any IT issue. We do it through an excellent team and a well-established set of tools and partnerships that allow us to provide comprehensive network monitoring and management, remote Helpdesk services, hardware and software resale, systems design, implementation, and integration. 

The Role: Network Engineer

Partners International is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to complete an account management team in the delivery of comprehensive support services to a limited set of customers. The Network Engineer will also be specifically responsible for configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server and Cisco network equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, manage, and maintain Windows server and network environment using remote management tools
  • Implement server and network upgrade projects on-site and remotely
  • Share Helpdesk and customer service duties with team
  • Provide top-tier support for Cisco network projects and issues

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in hands-on technical roles
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong customer service and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Cisco certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco network design, equipment configuration, and troubleshooting through GUI and/or command line, including routing, firewall, and VPN configuration
  • Experience with Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory environments
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Exchange administration
